Environmental care in practice
We use portable toilet systems with biodegradable materials to ensure responsible waste management on every expedition. All waste is carried out and properly treated in the city, minimizing environmental impact in remote mountain areas. We strictly follow and promote Leave No Trace principles in all our trekking and mountaineering programs.
Fair Treatment & Social Responsibility
We pay our porters, cooks, and assistants fair salaries in accordance with tourism industry standards, working exclusively with local staff to support regional employment. A portion of our income is reinvested in social initiatives, including annual Christmas events and toy donations for underprivileged children, as well as free mountaineering and outdoor training programs for vulnerable youth.

To ensure comfort, safety, and operational reliability, we operate our own facilities in Huaraz. La Casa de Maruja – B&B Hostel provides a welcoming base for trekkers and mountaineers before and after their expeditions, while Clean Earth – Mountain Gear & Equipment supplies high-quality rental and expedition gear. This integrated infrastructure guarantees consistent quality and safety standards across all our trekking and mountaineering programs.
