We believe that sustainable tourism begins with fair working conditions. We are one of the few family-run companies in the region that pays fair wages in U.S. dollars, above industry standards, as a way to strengthen the local economy and value the people who make our expeditions possible.
But our commitment goes further.
For more than 15 years, we have carried out social support initiatives focused on children, transforming tourism into a tool for hope, dignity, and opportunity.
Christmas Celebrations for Children
Every year, we organize a Christmas celebration for underprivileged children in our main base, Huaraz.
What began as a small initiative has become a local tradition.
During our most recent celebrations, we provided:
- Toys, clothing, and Christmas bread
- School supplies
- Music, clowns, and festive activities
These events have benefited more than 3,000 children, bringing joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments to families who need it most.
School Supplies for Rural Communities
Our second annual initiative focuses on education support.
We distribute school supplies — notebooks, pencils, erasers, pens, rulers, and paper — to children from rural Andean communities, including:
- Vicos
- Marcac
- Llactash
- Huaraz and surrounding areas
In recent years, we have delivered over 3,500 school kits, helping children start the school year with dignity and motivation.
